Technology is great when it works, but frustrating when it doesn't. If you're facing issues with your eSIM, don't panic. 90% of problems can be solved with these simple steps.
1. "Unable to Activate eSIM"
Cause: usually a poor internet connection during setup or a carrier lock.
Fix: Ensure you are on stable Wi-Fi. Check if your device is unlocked by contacting your home carrier.
2. No Signal / "SOS Only"
Cause: The eSIM line might be turned off or Data Roaming is disabled.
Fix: Go to Settings > Cellular. Ensure your eSIM line is toggled ON. Then, tap into the line and ensure Data Roaming is ON.
3. Slow Data Speeds
Cause: You might be in a poor coverage area or connected to a 3G network.
Fix: Toggle Airplane Mode on and off to force a network reconnection. If available, manually select a different network carrier in your cellular settings.
4. QR Code "No Longer Valid"
Cause: The code has already been scanned.
Fix: Most eSIM QR codes are one-time use. If you deleted the eSIM, you cannot reinstall it with the same code. Contact support for a replacement.
